Sorry to NI MPs & their staff who lost y’day. We take no pleasure in ppl losing jobs We’d like to thank them for having engaged with us over the past 2yrs - open dialogue essential in NI But we hope a period of reflection follows & for all MPs to represent us more fairly (8/9) 0 views · 11 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Also commiserations to @naomi_long who came SO close to taking East Belfast To have slashed an 8.5k majority to under 2k is a credit to her campaigning, and her passionate & principled belief in doing what is best for people in Belfast East We hope she’ll stand here again (7/9)

Also want to pay very special thanks to @ClareBaileyGPNI & @GreenPartyNI! Not in headlines today but their generosity of spirit means they must share in much of the credit, esp. in some of the close wins for Remain voices Young people esp. will remember what they did here (6/9)

Another great result was @johnfinucane in North Belfast John ran a nuanced, professional campaign. He reached out to people who hadn’t voted before & deserves this victory! We were proud to endorse him & to ask all pro-Remain supporters to support him too (4/9) https://t.co/Caq

Many said North Down was the DUP’s seat. We didn’t believe them, nor did 18,000+ voters who’ve put faith in @StephenFarryMP Lady Sylvia was an amazing MP & Stephen will be just as brilliant too! He’ll stand up for people here & we look forward to seeing him in Parliament (3/9)
