Following a political assassination, a MT Republican legislator says it's "time to go after the head of the snake." Rhetoric like this only emboldens the worst actors to commit violence. This type of rhetoric is always deplorable, but from a sitting legislator, it's inexcusable.

Montana's 69th legislature has adjourned, and I'm back home in Missoula. Dems got some good wins this session—on education, taxes, & more. We also stopped many horrible bills. Not enough, but from the minority we were mighty. Now to get some rest before the next big fights.
