India's gig economy will employ 23M by 2030. New labour codes promise some protection. But right now? Isolation by design. Sonic punishment. Precarious pay. No safety nets. Our convenience comes at their cost. Full story in @IndianExpress https://t.co/z735CB673Z 60.9K views · 936 likes · 158 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →

A guard stood between us & the main mall. The boundary was clear: they stay invisible. https:/ 76.3K views · 1.3K likes · 236 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

The apps use sound as discipline. Reject an order, forget marking one as delivered? A harsh alarm bell screams from your phone—designed to create crisis. On Swiggy, a message: "rejecting orders is bad behaviour." The algorithm watches and screams. Listen to this (Blinkit): https: 80.2K views · 945 likes · 177 reposts · 8 replies Open on X →

The math is brutal. Zomato paid Rs 355 for 6 deliveries. Blinkit Rs 313 for 11 deliveries, Swiggy Rs 114 for 6 deliveries, slashed by Rs 90 in penalties for rejecting orders. To make decent money, you need 25-30 deliveries/day over 12-14 hours. Is that how flexibility looks like? 166.2K views · 1.7K likes · 373 reposts · 25 replies Open on X →
