At $2 billion for 1,000 jobs (held overwhelmingly by ticketed AWU members), that's $2 million per job saved, which is about the worst subsidy ROI I've seen since Josh Frydenberg sprayed $40 billion of JobKeeper at firms who shouldn't have qualified for it.
