Thanks, Julie. I won't explain on X, which promotes antivax liars, but my book #NeuroTribes explains this history in depth. 65.7K views · 187 likes · 28 reposts · 19 replies Open on X →
As an autism mom from the 90s, I questioned vaccines when they contained mercury. That ingredient has been removed, autism numbers have not decreased, & science tends to disprove a link. @stevesilberman can explain better than I why conspiracy theories took off back then. 1/2 64.7K views · 37 likes · 9 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

@gtra1n Nice Bandcamp post on the Beats, thanks. Just one slight miss: Kerouac didn't gloss "beat" as "beatific" because he was "an aspiring Buddhist," but because he was a lifelong Catholic. (I was Ginsberg's teaching assistant.) 834 views · 6 likes · 1 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
LOL-in-horror moments of new @nytimes puff piece: Reporter dutifully reciting Elon Musk's BS about buying Twitter to "test how a citizen-led government that rules by consensus might work on Mars," and not realizing "selective breeding" is Nazi eugenics. https://t.co/bsxJCOTcho 13.3K views · 81 likes · 30 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →
Terry Gross of @nprfreshair is the best interviewer in the business. The transcript of my 2015 interview with Terry about my history of #autism and #neurodiversity, #NeuroTribes, is archived here. It was an honor to talk to her. https://t.co/hMK4nhvaRY 0 views · 907 likes · 202 reposts · 66 replies Open on X →
