Seriously 50% of the AI launches I see people are getting hyped about something but I literally can’t understand what is new.
“You can now make decks, docs and designs in your conversation!”
…Haven’t we all been doing that for a couple years?

Opinion | Now that the holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy case is getting the negative attention he deserves, it’s easy for District Attorney Tim Cruz to agree to a plea deal that gets Lindsay the help she needs. Between now and when the deal goes t… https://t.co/ktm1k1F6ea

Yes use tech free cashflow and VC dollars to fund AI, and if it works you everyone makes 50 quadrillion dollars.
But there’s a shortage of people who want to lend at 6-7% for physical assets that go to 0 if there’s a temporary oversupply or lull in demand?
Ya I bet.

The biggest bottleneck in the GPU industry at the moment is not chips, CoWoS, or even power. It's credit.

Holy shit.
Conjecture from OpenAI staff that the models may be sandbagging or self-sabotaging so humans don’t realize how capable they are?

The funniest part hands down is when a moderator of some old German message board noticed something is up and starts deleting the articles in alphabetical order.
The AI agents, noticing this, begin to pretend their article titles with ZZZ to give them more time before deletion.

This is an excellent question. Why aren’t AI models just training themselves already?
They theoretically can, and kind of are, but they don’t have the data/evals/gyms required to do so.

Might be a dumb question, but as we reach AGI and AI becomes smarter than humans, and as the frontier labs compete for market share in a winner-takes-all industry, what’s to stop them from letting their AI models program their own updates and recursively self-improve?
And what h

@JakeMendel99 @girishsastry According to the blog astra was not involved in this. I agree that beating Sol is a very low bar for alignment. I am very worried astra is sandbagging/self-sabotaging on safety related tasks it doesn't like.

@Austen Yeah, to be honest, I would say that the left one is better for accessibility.
The gradient on the Design Agency side doesn't really pass the bar for me when it comes to people with vision impairment.

@Austen they're close. that's actually the point AI nails the first impression now
the difference shows up in the parts that deeper - states, ux, layout.

Hot take: most people get this wrong.
Nobody talks about this, but it’s the thing that actually matters.
Unpopular opinion? Maybe. But read that again. Slowly.
This is the part where it clicks.

That’s the load-bearing insight. The quiet part is: this isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.
Zoom out. The takeaway? It just works. Seamlessly. Effortlessly. No notes. Rest is noise.
And honestly? That’s the whole ballgame. Let that sink in.
It’s not X—it’s Y.

Engineers who can find a company’s real problems are rare.
Engineers who can then scope and build the AI to solution are rarer. They barely exist.
