ICYMI: scientists say there's no time for massive removal of atmospheric CO₂ before 2°C and rising (v. likely by 2032-46) combines with pollution and nature destruction to further lock in horrific rapid mass extinction https://t.co/Jahqq6vvTX 6.2K views · 54 likes · 12 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

The latest projections from IPCC scientists indicate that it is virtually impossible to avoid exceeding horrific 2°C in the 2020s or 2030s/2040s. There will never be any system change headlines. 5.3K views · 84 likes · 44 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →

"When I was a child, the trees protected us from the sun, and the river never stopped flowing. Now the heat is much more intense, and during the dry season we have to walk farther to find water. Every year, we watch a little more of the forest that sustained our lives disappear.. 2K views · 48 likes · 19 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

DOOM: Scientists all know warming of 1.9-2°C and rising within years not decades is unavoidable. Anticipate mass extinction of 50-75% of species at 3°C (and rising) by 2058-2094. https://t.co/vKbam1PQWP 9.6K views · 60 likes · 20 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →

The latest IPCC AR6 climate change reports indicate that it is virtually impossible to avoid exceeding horrific 1.5°C in the 2020s or 2030s. Where are the system change headlines? 0 views · 1.3K likes · 395 reposts · 16 replies Open on X →

Remember: 1. The oceans are being killed. 2. Forests will soon be gone. 3. Fertile soil is disappearing. 4. Megafauna risk extermination. 5. Insects are vanishing. 6. Climate chaos is inevitable. 7. Extinction is now. 8. Plastic is in our blood. None of this is front page news. 0 views · 206.2K likes · 111.8K reposts · 2K replies Open on X →
