I've been told off. It is interesting that some people can't even conceive of societies - sometimes called animist cultures - that don't have a pantheon of deities and so do not have a fertility goddess. https://t.co/oqTNMx3tQg

Incredible how old these swords are, the long thin blades for thrusting had that large central rib to stiffen it. You see the end of the tang was hammered over to one side to fix the organic handle in place. This is hundred of years before the famous Mycenaean rapiers. 1.2K views · 26 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Disappointed to learn that "Reasonable Blackman" was actually just a white English man and that the scholarship so-called was based on nothing more than his surname. Blackman / Blakeman / Blackmore / etc are common English surnames with no connection to other ethnicities. https:

A rat-tang sword from Cyprus. It is likely one of the oldest tin-bronze swords in the world. It is part of a hoard of metal objects probably originating from Vasilia and dates to the period of the Philia culture (circa 2400–2300 BC). https://t.co/CKRprSBjtP
