Just to clarify, the part about divorcing wives was sarcastic. It's because many coaches have copied everything Pep does. Anyway, I'm still surprised at how many people think that to be the best (or highlight in your profession) a mental illness (being obsessive) is necessary 🧐 3.2K views · 5 likes · 1 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@JimenaJuani Just about every genius intensely suffers in one form or another. Across all walks of life. To pretend otherwise is incredibly disingenuous at best, and at worst, makes one sound like such a loser. Pep's obsession is exactly why he is the greatest. @JimenaJuani You’re right about it being toxic. You’re wrong about it not working 23.6K views · 460 likes · 4 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

Obsession is not a good thing. Nor is it what turned Pep into a great coach. It scares me to think we might now see a wave of coaches divorcing their wives, believing it will make them better. Don't romanticize obsession; obsessive people suffer. 690.3K views · 1.2K likes · 82 reposts · 34 replies Open on X →
