You either build authority in SEO to rank or you borrow it... Let's work through the costs of each. Building authority (aka buying links, doing PR, building PBNs, etc.). - Each link roughly $200 - $500 - PR campaigns can run $1k+ - PBNs range from $50-$150 (self-build) 2.4K views · 22 likes · 3 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →

@SearchForRyan I totally understand where you're coming from but I think its grossly unfair, but worse this is kind of a though limiting cliche and its a logical fallacy. Lets put what % of HCU sites did or didn't deserve to get hit for a minute... they were all designed ot man 383 views · 14 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
If you’re an SEO and hit me with ‘Google says…’ I immediately know you don’t do SEO. Instead I know 2 things could be true: 1. You do agency SEO which, let’s be honest… it’s not really SEO. You do tech audits and make spreadsheets. 2. You’re brand new to the game and you 13.3K views · 117 likes · 5 reposts · 38 replies Open on X →

@SearchForRyan we're not. this approach is the one that's dying. I don't mean this as superiority, but we've moved on to doing real marketing. analyzing competitive gaps and consumer needs and trying to fill those. To building a real brand. SEO isn't tricks anymore. It's gettin 498 views · 9 likes · 1 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

My job as an SEO is *literally* just finding loopholes in search engines to rank websites. That's it. So when SEOs catch an attitude or have this air of superiority, it makes me cringe. Acting like 99% of us aren't just sitting in front of a computer all day looking at Ahrefs 20.3K views · 167 likes · 5 reposts · 38 replies Open on X →
