EDGE OF TOMORROW (2014) is the perfect blockbuster movie. Seriously, it still amazes me that this wasn’t a gigantic hit. Most modern blockbusters feel like they were assembled from the same handful of ideas, and then there’s EDGE OF TOMORROW, which somehow manages to be a 13.3K views · 82 likes · 11 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

TROPIC THUNDER (2008) is a comedic masterpiece. Sometimes I genuinely feel like going back to college just to write a thesis on this movie. There are so many layers to it, so much going on with every character, and so many jokes that are working on completely different levels. 15K views · 88 likes · 10 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

I genuinely think Jason Statham might have one of the strangest movie-star careers in Hollywood. The guy has spent roughly 25 years making action movies, and somehow he has almost never fallen into the trap that catches so many actors once they reach this stage of their career. 34.9K views · 521 likes · 53 reposts · 15 replies Open on X →

What are some weirdly specific things you automatically expect to happen whenever certain actors show up in a movie? Sean Bean will probably die. Tom Hanks will somehow end up needing to pee at a crucial moment. Brad Pitt will be eating something while having a conversation. 18.2K views · 65 likes · 1 reposts · 17 replies Open on X →

What are some fourth movies that actually deserve to sit next to the trilogy that came before them? MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the obvious one, even if it’s more of a continuation than a traditional fourth movie. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE GHOST PROTOCOL is another where the fourth movie 36.5K views · 63 likes · 5 reposts · 21 replies Open on X →

Rewatched SNATCH (2000) and somehow this thing still flies. The cast is ridiculous. Brad Pitt is having an absolute blast as Mickey, Vinnie Jones is perfect as Bullet Tooth Tony, Statham is effortlessly cool, and then you’ve got Benicio del Toro, Dennis Farina, Rade Šerbedžija, 35.1K views · 727 likes · 38 reposts · 47 replies Open on X →
