Tried my "what piano keys" challenge again and two models can now almost get it! GPT-6 Astra "extra high" got it in seconds without using tools (but added an extra F). Fable 5.1 gets it (also with extra F) after *16 minutes* of visual analysis in Python. https://t.co/J6q10SyfNo 770 views · 2 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 04 Sep 2026 · Open on X →
The "Net promoter score" system should be scapped. All it leads to nowadays is the people being judged urging you that only 9 and 10 are good scores which defeats the point. https://t.co/uYTGSbwvMw 784 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 4 replies 04 Sep 2026 · Open on X →
Had $90 of credit sat at Cerebras to burn.. which is just as well as creating a basic Ruby "snake" game with Qwen 3.8 spent $6 of credit(!) and rate limited constantly. However! It's one of the best implementations I've seen so far, even compared to SOTA models. https://t.co/QDj 673 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 04 Sep 2026 · Open on X →

There's probably more, but yeah, if you have any specific questions for me about the cruise in particular, just let me know while my memory is still fresh! Considering I'm not "into" Disney and hate crowds/noise, it was not a bad experience overall, although I'm exhausted now! 243 views · 3 likes · 0 reposts · 2 replies 25 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
I was surprised at how MK at WDW is not as flagship as I was expecting. Rides/experiences no better than Paris or California IMO and the vast distances between parks and hotels makes it a bit of a commute. You need to pick your hotel wisely if you ever want to "pop back" during 256 views · 2 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 25 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
Then two days at WDW. Weather and crowds tolerable despite being mid August. Advise leaving before close as it took us an hour to get from park gate to our on-site hotel on the SkyLiner 😱 EPCOT was fine, feels more adult. Loved the Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom (great 294 views · 2 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 25 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
The cruise was good! Never been on one before and Disney nailed the service and comfort, even with five of us in one room. There are so many hidey-holes on the ship and ports that you can stay sane even if you're not into Disney (I'm not). So I'm finally back from my week on a Disney cruise followed by two days at Walt Disney World. Some casual reflections as I know some of you were curious.. 🧵 2K views · 5 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies 25 Aug 2026 · Open on X →
My dad finally died last Friday. I figured I should mention it, though I’ve spoken about him in the past tense for years as he’s been aphasic/absent since 2021. It’s a relief, honestly. It’s not the way to go. 341 views · 3 likes · 0 reposts · 3 replies 06 Apr 2026 · Open on X →
@cooperx86 curious about that computer, never seen it before. 1.7K views · 8 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies 06 Feb 2026 · Open on X →
My dad taught me to program (along with a lot of passive smoking!) when I was about 4 or 5 because he thought it would be the future. It was the greatest gift he gave me, and I have never been as excited about it as now. https://t.co/SWLL5TjPC6 67.8K views · 1.5K likes · 54 reposts · 63 replies 06 Feb 2026 · Open on X →
