What @ethankurz shares is an honest and realistic perspective on the current state of the VC market. I'm about to kick off my next raise so the topic is top of mind and fortunately or unfortunately I see the ecosystem the same way.

@fintechjunkie I guess the proxy work is sort of a speed dampener, which is good and bad. Bad because it is a form of "managing up" and not being treated like an adult, good because it maintains quality.

I'm currently heads-down building a Startup in the fintech space and last week I had an idea for a new piece of functionality. I thought I knew exactly what it should do and how it h

@fintechjunkie @nico_laqua My 2 cents on this is i) No need to dunk on startup strategies without knowing their POV in public sphere ii) No need to be sensitive to such fleeting criticism when you are on a long journey.

@nico_laqua My two cents is that any Founder would be privileged to work with Sheel. He’s one of the best there is in the fintech space. Great operator instincts. Great strategic instincts. And he’s a great human being. DYOR but I can say first hand that he’s the real deal.

What a great articulation of the problem. A must read!
This is something that I've been writing about for a few years and what's clear is that the problem is only getting worse, not better.
I care enough about how difficult it is for everyday people to navigate the reality of

What if the best startup advice came wrapped in a story you couldn't put down?
It’s finally here! After a year of hard work and many sleepless nights, I can finally say that my book has been published. Amazon and Ingram links are in the comments if you want to pick up a copy for
