@scottiebateman He wasn’t on fire
The engine did not quit on this video with you’re showing.

@scottiebateman @OnDisasters What saddens me about this is they didn’t need to be up there. Why is America obsessed with news helicopters, why do they need an aerial view of absolutely everything? We don’t see this in the UK or Europe.
The news vans can launch drones if they wan

Reportedly a video of the 767 landing in MIA prior to the runway excursion. This video will undoubtedly play a pivotal part in any investigation. https://t.co/oAzs0Ng85D

Goodness this doesn’t look good.
I believe there are multiple injuries from cars on the MIA perimeter road that were struck. Here’s praying that they aren’t serious. https://t.co/KB3BNhA9VF

@scottiebateman I had no idea until today that the vast majority of the South African population are experienced professional pilots. At least that’s the way my timeline looks!

I posted yesterday about the Airlink flypast in Cape Town and like many professional pilots, I was aghast.
The reaction to this flypast has been fascinating.
For some, it was spectacular. A moment of national pride, flown by experienced South African aviators and apparently ht

Holey hell. A French Rafale landing on a carrier at night. I watched the radar altimeter (top right) count down and I still couldn’t see the carrier until touchdown. NOT A CHANCE I’d do this. Ever. #WePilots #aviation https://t.co/39wqwMGAnr
