One thing that can be learned from the history of splinter groups in Bitcoin is that they keep splintering and the splinters become more fringe. BCH started with at least a “sane” premise of wanting bigger blocks (if technically misguided). Then it further splintered into the 9.8K views · 140 likes · 9 reposts · 21 replies Open on X →

This is a thin almost nonexistent market but does appear to confirm my prediction that Blakies would be worth close to zero. 2.1K views · 16 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

For the love of everything that's holy, don't put your private key into a website while trying to claim some of these Blakies. Not linking to the site because it's a toxic idea. There are not “two sides” in bitcoin. It’s not core vs knots. It’s not devs vs users. It’s *way* more interesting than that. The only thing you can control in Bitcoin is what software *you* run. Literally. That is all. All of the emergent governance properties stem from that. 14.7K views · 165 likes · 28 reposts · 17 replies Open on X →
