Zuck just called BS on Dario openly..
Dario wants regulators to decide who is allowed to build frontier AI.
Zuck’s response is simple:
- misaligned agents lose users
- harmful models create liability
- independent evaluators make better products
Meta delayed Muse for safety.

More thoughts on why I think the big AI labs have no moat, and why their business model is collapsing..
this is exactly why they're running this AI psyop..

Open Source models are already handling 20% of the work load.. At 100x lower cost than OpenAI and Anthropic..
the frontier labs have no moat...
At least not the moat everyone thinks they have.
Bindu says their own open-source models are already doing 20% of their workloads at

this is exactly what Dario doesn't want you to know -
METR isn't a third party
it's on the Anthropic payroll through a $7.7B stock pile
the "independent" AI safety machine is funded by Anthropic itself
the same money funds -
- the evaluators
- the doom media
- the push for

This is exactly what Dario and sama are afraid of -
- Chinese AI company Z AI just raised $5 Billion
- 60% of that will go to fund the next generation of GLM models.
- Z AI's stated goal is to achieve a "Full Self Training" system..
Basically RSI - Recursive Self Improving

this is Dario and sama's worst nightmare -
A law firm buying Nvidia servers.
Latham & Watkins is building an in-house AI stack..
this is US’s second-largest law firm with $8.3 Billion in revenue last year
And now it has -
- Nvidia hardware it controls
- open-weight models

sama's last line is most telling -
"Where we will need the help of our government is for international coordination. But first we should do what we can ourselves."
Internally the big AI labs have already figured out their "pacing" strategy..
both Dario and Sama agree they
